Who Are Hagerty International?
We are the UK arm of Hagerty, who are arguably the largest and most successful classic and collector car broker in the world. Based in Michigan, USA they have made certain that their customer comes first and this is also the main focus for Hagerty International.
Why Hagerty International?
The US parent realised that more and more of their insured were travelling to the UK and Europe and were often complaining about the lack of Hagerty service in these territories. Therefore, in response to their clients' needs, Hagerty set up their International office to make certain that they have a presence on the UK and Europe.

We are the ONLY classic and collector car insurance specialist in the UK. We will provide the best service, because we only focus on this niche area of the industry. Our products are exclusively targeted to the classic and collector car industry.

What does Hagerty International do for the industry?
We put £1.00 from each policy into a Foundation, which is then used to sponsor young people through a restoration course. In addition, the Hagerty Foundation are also in the process of writing a Certificate of Competence for the Restoration Industry. We will then actively work with all the specialist universities and colleges to get this certificate licensed.
OK, but what about the premium?
We have a completely different outlook as to how we charge our premiums. As we have no external factors (such as household or regular use car insurance) affecting our loss ratios, we are able to provide competitive rates year on year.
